(1888PressRelease) February 16, 2012 - Culinary Nutritionist, Marni Wasserman, will be hosting a series of exclusive culinary workshops with Executive Vegan Chef, Doug McNish. The workshops will focus on raw food ingredients, recipes, and cooking techniques featuring a variety of raw food options such as vegan, gluten-free, organic, whole- and plant-based foods.

There will be a total of four workshops throughout March and April, each focusing on different raw techniques and cuisine. Wasserman will be educating class attendees on several topics such as basic essentials in the kitchen, the art of making dips, sauces, desserts, smoothies and elixirs. The classes are intended to provide a personal and unique experience that will allow attendees to understand recipes and cooking techniques first-hand.

"With my culinary background and knowledge, and Doug's mastered cooking technique and skills, the entire cooking experience will be holistic and valuable to our students," says Wasserman. "Both Doug and I have a great following in Toronto, so I'm very excited to feature him in my classes."

The workshops will take place on March 14th, March 28th, April 4th, and April 18th, with a maximum capacity of 15 students per class.

Wasserman, a Certified Nutritional Practitioner and Chef, graduated from the Institute of Holistic Nutrition in Toronto and the Natural Gourmet Culinary Institution in New York City. She is also the author of four e-books that focus on healthy eating through vegetarian/vegan nutrition. Doug McNish, a well-known Chef in Toronto, specializes in vegan, macrobiotic and raw food cuisine. He will be publishing his first cookbook in early 2012, Eat Raw Eat Well, 400 Raw, Vegan and Gluten Free Recipes.
