The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce honors the star of NCIS and "Certain Prey" with a star on Hollywood Boulevard.

"He is a favorite of many fans in Hollywood and around the world."
During the course of an enviable career, Mark Harmon's acting talent has earned him multiple Emmy and Golden Globe nominations. But his portrayal of Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs on NCIS and his starring role playing Detective Lucas Davenport in the film adaption of John Sandford's bestselling Certain Prey" novel has recently got the actor special praise. It's no surprise that Harmon was recently nominated for the People's Choice Award.
Harmon's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame comes the day before Walmart releases "Certain Prey" on DVD. The action thriller hits Walmart stores across the country on Tuesday October 2nd.
"Certain Prey" was a dream project for Mark Harmon who served as Executive Producer with Howard Braunstein and Michael Jaffe and was involved with the film's development from day one. Harmon thinks the Prey novels and the character of Lucas Davenport would make a great film series.
Mark Harmon's TV show NCIS was voted America's favorite television show in 2011 and is watched by 19 million Americans every week. In March 2012, CBS renewed NCIS for a 10th season. Harmon has also been voted America's Favorite TV Personality.
"Certain Prey" was based on the bestselling novel by Pulitzer Prize-winning author John Sanford who has written 22 best-selling "Prey" novels along with many other award-winning books.
