Mark Berry's AMG Unveils Music Gaming Arm with M'Kaylah Fridal being named AMG's head of Music for Gaming, moving back and forth from her role as AMG's AttackTRAX head of operations.
- (1888PressRelease) November 06, 2015 - The new division will sit alongside AMG's international TV & Film distribution and production arms and aims to leverage AMG's experience, platforms and brand to drive a global roll-out of music products for the international gaming sector.
The aim is to develop original music for mobile and social games independently, as well as working with third-party clients and exploiting existing AMG music publishing repertoire.
Fridal joined AMG in 2014 from AttackTRAX.com, a music for film & TV based operator of gaming-on-demand technology recently acquired by AMG, which partners with some of the largest film companies in the world to exploit music content across many different platforms.
She will report to AMG Chairman Mark Berry, who said: "AMG is well known as a key music based insertion company internationally. Not only does the gaming tech industry thrive, but music products have a very strong take-up, by people of all ages. We have been quick to embrace the second screen and a move into gaming is a logical next step. M'Kaylah's experience in the Film & TV sector makes her a perfect fit for continued contact with gaming music supervisors."
