Nelson formerly was a solo practitioner at her firm Catherine Law Firm in Menlo Park, Calif.
Nelson's practice encompasses estate planning, wills and trusts, LGBT estate and life planning and protections, probate and trust administration.
Nelson is a graduate of the University of San Francisco School of Law (J.D., 2011) and California Polytechnic State University - San Luis Obispo (B.A., 2007).
Active in the legal community, Nelson is a member of the State Bar of California and the San Mateo County Bar Association. In 2015, she was featured in San Francisco magazine as a "Super Lawyers Rising Star."
