MappStream To Introduce New Earthview Feature In Its Live Local Audio Application For iOS
The initial idea behind MappStream was to provide a platform allowing live local audio to be streamed and heard by listeners via mapping software utilizing a hybrid API of both the Google and Apple map code.
- (1888PressRelease) May 15, 2014 - CHICAGO, IL. - Just three months after launching their unique, map-based live local audio streaming application for iPhone/iPad, MappStream will soon release a follow up version that significantly improves user functionality by allowing live audio broadcast content to be found globally. The new function will be known as "EarthView".
This allows listeners to assign a radius distance in either blocks, miles or kilometers to scan for live local audio content broadcasting in their own communities using the application.
MappStream CEO and Co-Founder Ramin Streets added "As our MappStream application becomes known to more and more users, we realize that activity will be initially minimal on a local level. Users need time to get the hang of it and to explore the app's full potential.
