Manulife Singapore Appoints New Chief Financial Officer
Manulife (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. has announced the appointment of Khoo Poh Huat as its Chief Financial Officer.
- (1888PressRelease) September 16, 2014 - Singapore - In his role, Poh Huat will oversee the company's actuarial and finance functions, which cover product pricing, financial reporting, financial planning and control, capital management and planning, asset-liability management, reinsurance and other finance-related matters.
As part of Manulife Singapore's Senior Leadership Team, Poh Huat will also be actively involved in shaping the overall strategy and direction of the company's operations in Singapore.
With over 17 years of experience in the life insurance industry, Poh Huat has amassed a wealth of expertise in areas such as product pricing, financial reporting, distribution, strategic consulting, as well as mergers and acquisitions. Poh Huat is also a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries in the UK.
He joined Manulife Singapore in 2012 as its Appointed Actuary in charge of regulatory reporting, financial planning, product pricing, par fund management and financial condition investigation.
