MANIFEST DESTINY, the luxury candle and card line, launches an advice column written from a woman in the 19th century. Lucie Boone hears voices. She lives in the 3rd floor attic room of a tenement house in a city just outside Atlanta, Georgia. The year is 1872.

Manifest Destiny, the cultish boutique candle and card line adds yet another character to its unusual cast of characters. Lucie Boone chronicles her life, thoughts, and the strange voices-in-her-head, into what she thinks is her private journal and unknowingly answers our questions.
Lucie Boone is a great addition to the collective of characters featured in Manifest Destiny's line of candles. Each candle features a vintage image of a character(s) immersed in a story. The scent of the candle is inspired by a moment in the story and the character's stories intersect. Here is a sampling of MD's characters and their scents: Claire, the dancer - (aroma: cognac & amber), Alexandr, the Russian hunter - (aroma: bourbon, moss, leather & pouch tobacco), Delphine, the femme fatale - (aroma: white orchid, bergamot & spilled vermouth), and Edmund, the WW 1 pilot - (aroma: north sea wind, wild heather & salt marsh grass).
