TRANSEARCH International is proud to announce that Ulrich Ackermann was recently awarded the 2011 AESC European Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Executive Search Profession.
- (1888PressRelease) November 26, 2011 - The Association of Executive Search Consultants (AESC) awarded a leading German executive search professional and three top academics from IMD and INSEAD in London last week at its 15th annual European conference.
Ulrich F. Ackermann, Managing Partner of TRANSEARCH International Deutschland, received the 2011 AESC European Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Executive Search Profession. In his speech to honour Mr. Ackermann, Chairman of TRANSEARCH International, Alain Tanugi, emphasised Ulrich's commitment to the highest professional standards and his altruistic work as the founder of the TRANSEARCH Child Fund Foundation. Ackermann served from 2001 until 2008 as a member of AESC's European and Global Boards of Directors. In 2006 he started the AESC chapter in the DACH region, which he led as Chairman until the end of 2011. Ulrich said: "Receiving this award is a great honour and I am grateful for the acknowledgement! I'm fortunate to be able to do something that I love and to be able to give back to the community. Even though this is a life time achievement award, I feel the best is yet to come and I look forward to another decade in search working with fantastic individuals, whether they are clients, candidates, my peers or my own team!"
Ulrich F. Ackermann succeeds previous AESC award recipients: Marc Lamy (2010), Anders Borg (2009), Richard Boggis-Rolfe (2008), Jean Van den Eynde (2007), Eric Salmon (2006), David Kimbell (2005), Didier Vuchot (2004), Anthony Saxton (2002) and Dr. Jürgen Mülder (2000).
