SSON recently announced the launch of the all new Managed Certification® and Online Learning program for Shared Services & Outsourcing Professionals. After two successful live demonstrations, SSON have announced a third live demonstration - taking place this Thursday 15th July 2010.

The Managed Certification® and Online Learning Program at a Glance
- The SSON Managed Certification® and Online Learning Program will be launched in late Q3 2010 and takes the form of an online learning program
- The certification covers 10 areas our advisory board and members have identified as core skills or competencies
- Each competency will contain approximately 10 modules (including a shared services focus as well as a module with an outsourcing focus)
- Certification is valid for two years from date of certification.
- Successful completion of all e-learning modules in a given competency lead to a final on-line examination. A pass rate of 80% applies to all tests.
- Certification points are also awarded for professional credentials, shown through years of experience, formal education, visibility through presentations/white papers, etc.
In designing this program, SSON has researched skills requirements and core competencies across a range of functions and industries. SSON has taken advice from some of the leading practitioners in the global marketplace, and are delighted to offer a comprehensive, monitored online program.
