After several years creating the finest couture evening wear for some of the world's most famous high society women, couturier Cedric Vernon Fahey and Rodolphe Ayer finally launch their Pret-a-Porter line.
"This collection is truly a labour of love, bringing the allure, elegance and marvellous detail of couture to Pret-a-Porter" Rodolphe Ayer (Director)
(1888PressRelease) June 19, 2012 - The collection is a stunning melange of the finest silks and fabrics Italy has to offer, combined with exquisite detailing handcrafted by Italian seamstresses whose craftsmanship and techniques have been handed down from generation to generation.
The collection is aimed at fashion conscious women with impeccable style and taste, who refuse to compromise on quality, exquisite craftsmanship, and sublime design.
The collection is inspired by tropical Flora, beaches that extend for miles with the waves rolling onto the shore. A strong colour among a jungle of dense foliage and dancing breeze, shapes embracing these ondulating waves. The islands of Trinidad, St. Martin and St. Barthélemy.
Partner of the two man team Rodolphe Ayer said:
"This collection is truly a labour of love. We dedicated innumerable hours searching for just the right fabrics and accessories to bring the allure, elegance and marvellous detail of couture to Prêt-à-Porter"
The legacy of of French culture is evident with the mixed Mikado silk and the " Jeanne " designs which carry the armature and the struggle of a courageous woman. The old world which embraced this new land rich in exotic beauty.
The designer's passion for a dangerous and respected flower they discovered in Trinidad is self evident in the " Balisier " The flower's shape smoothly angled like an elongated cup climbing in alternate and ending into a fine tip, dominant, with her pigmentation, decisive in the rain, in the vast wilderness.

Cédric Vernon Fahey SAGL
Created in Switzerland in 2009 by designer duo - Rodolphe Ayer (YSL, Armani, Chopard, Riva ) and ex top model turned designer and Couturier Cédric Fahey Vernon (YSL & Romeo Gigli). The designers have become hot favourites on the international social scene working with VIP clients on couture designs for high society social events, cocktails and weddings particularly in Europe and Asia.
In a passionate adventure to somewhat divert from the current market trends, fashion designer and entrepreneur Rodolphe Ayer and ex top model turned designer and couturier Cédric wished to use their cultural heritage to express their fashion. The art of using noble and high quality materials remains their main objective with much admiration for the couturier Monsieur Yves Saint Laurent.
The CVF House was forged by all that is beautiful.
Rodolphe is French from the island of St. Martin and Cédric is French and English from Cannes and Trinidad & Tobago. Both acquired an international culture and the taste for travel due to the careers of their parents, with whom they discovered different continents, followed by their own personal ventures, they met in New York, during their careers as models.
In 2004, wanting a change, they decided to understand Fashion at 360 degrees. They moved to Milano to study Fashion:
Cédric pursued studies in design and pattern making. Rodolphe studied the ethics and marketing of fashion. Upon graduating, both actively collaborated with a several Italian brands.
Cédric was first assistant alongside the Maestro Lorenzo Riva for 2 years. Rodolphe integrated the team of Riva Maison for the marketing development of the brand.
CVF wishes to represent all women of creed, race and beauty. The use of noble and newer textiles is one of their priorities. Their cultural background is interpreted in every creation, made with Love; we discover the variants of colours and the forms... that make their collections unique.
A close relationship with their Mothers, their Friends, all considered as their muses helping them to develop their sensitivity and their taste for elegance.
