Maine Roller Derby is holding it's 2cnd annual charity bout and raising money for Maine Adaptive Sports & Recreation on November 17, 2012.

Thanks for Giving is MRD's way of giving back to the community. This year we are very happy to have teamed up with Maine Adaptive Sports & Recreation as our charity to benefit from this interactive bout! Thank you Maine Adaptive Sports & Recreation for allowing us this opportunity to make a difference. November 17, 2012 located at Happy Wheels skating rink 331 Warren ave, Portland Maine, 04103. Doors open at 5pm action starts at 5:30 pm.
Fans - you don't like what's going on with the team your favorite skater is on? You can pay to move your choice skater to the other team, and the best part is it's going straight to Maine Adaptive Sports & Recreation and your skater is winning, double WIN!! This is all for the great cause of charity and giving back, look into your heart and then dig deep into the wallets and help us raise some cash for this worthy organization, the more you give the better you feel.
There is an after party to follow for our 21 and up guests at "The Frosty Pint" 965 Forest Avenue Portland ME, right around the corner folks. It boasts pool tables, darts, food, music, dancing, and tons of tvs filled with sports, a premier sports bar in Portland come join the fun.
