The Farm Equipment Sector of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (M&M), the market leader in the Indian tractor industry for the past 27 years recently displayed its entire range of products and services at PAU Ludhiana.
FES showcased its complete tractor range from 15 HP to 85 HP. On display for the first time were the 85 HP AC cabin tractors - 8560, the international 4Wheel Drive tractor with AC cabin and the riding type rice transplanter and balers. The Arjun International 7575, the Arjun 555 DLX tractor and the first 15 HP tractor - Yuvraj 215 were also on display.

Mahindra's newest offering - the 8560 AC cabin tractor incorporates a turbo charged, four stroke, intercooled, direct injection engine. The tractors are also equipped with technologically advanced AC cabi and, hydrostatic power with tiltable column steering. These superior features in the tractors provide high levels of comfort and ease of handling to the farmer, enabling trouble free operation for long hours, better yield and higher productivity.
On its journey towards Farm Tech Prosperity, Mahindra FES also had a Samriddhi kiosk on display which showcased soil testing facility which is one of the many services offered through Samriddhi centres. A unique initiative in the tractor industry, Mahindra Samriddhi Centres truly represent Mahindra's customer-centric business approach that leverages innovative solutions to address customer requirements.
FES also showcased the Swaraj brand of tractors. These included the Swaraj 735 XM, 843 XM, 744 and 855 FE. Mahindra Tractors, along with the Swaraj brand, today enjoys a market share of more than 40% in the Indian market.
Commenting on the occasion Mr. Bishwambhar Mishra, Chief Executive Officer, Swaraj division, said, "Both the Mahindra and Swaraj brands are tough, rugged and powerful and complement each other very well. On display is our XM Series from the Swaraj stable which showcases our commitment towards upgrading our product line."
