Mahindra concluded the Monastery Escape 2011, a 2500 kilometer expedition, from Delhi to Leh and back.
- (1888PressRelease) August 24, 2011 - Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (M&M), a part of the US $12.5 billion Mahindra Group, recently concluded the Monastery Escape 2011, a 2500 kilometer expedition, from Delhi. A grueling ten-day drive that connected New Delhi to Leh and back, via the most treacherous road in the world, the Monastery Escape 2011 was tailor-made for the adventurer in every person.
Three of the highest motorable roads in the whole world, magical lakes that no digital frame can do justice to and peace-filled monasteries that give spirituality another meaning altogether, are what this drive was all about. It was certainly not an easy drive, but that is precisely what made it so exclusive.
Held under the Mahindra Adventure umbrella, it was a part of the Multi-day escape series that have been unleashed recently. These multi-day escapes will celebrate incredible India by traversing its exotic and unexplored locations, thereby bringing the concept of 'Adventure/Driving Holidays' to a larger audience. The other special multi-day escapes include the Royal New Year Escape (6 days), Vineyard Escape (2 days) and Spice Escape (2 days).
