Maharajas' Express again made the world surprise by winning 'World's Leading Luxury Train' Award 2012. It's the third time that the luxury train has been laurelled in the international spectrum for its exceptional services and amenities.

In the World Travel Award Ceremony 2012 held at The Oberoi, Gurgaon, India's newest luxury train Maharajas' Express has been given this title. The other world famous luxury trains nominated in this category were - Venice Simplon Orient Express, Hiram Bingham, The Blue Train and the Indian Maharaja Deccan Odyssey among others.
It is not the first time for the train to get international acclamation. The Maharajas' Express has got two most prestigious travel awards in the past. The train was announced the 1st runner up in the 'Readers' Choice Award' for Conde Nast Traveler in 2011 and also got the CNBC Travel's 'Best Luxury Train' award in 2012.
