- Chicago, IL (1888PressRelease) October 01, 2010 - Magenium Solutions announced today the launch of a dedicated CRM Solutions Practice and the hiring of Richard Knudson, a well known and respected thought leader in the customer relationship management landscape. This move will help Magenium's clients derive greater business value from their CRM platforms.
Richard was formerly the president and founder of IMG where he headed up the Microsoft Dynamics CRM practice. His areas of expertise include CRM business process and workflow, sales process automation, business intelligence, the design and implementation of custom CRM/XRM applications, as well as the design, creation and delivery of training content and programs for Dynamics CRM implementations. Richard will focus on providing planning, consulting, implementation assistance and customization services for Magenium customers.
Richard is an expert who is fully engaged with other experts within his domain. He is a frequent speaker at several well-known industry events, including TechEd, Fusion, and Convergence. He provides training at all levels for customers and other IT professionals, including a "bootcamp-style" training program for those pursuing certification. He is an accomplished author of a popular book, Building Workflows in Dynamics CRM 4.0, as well as the principle author of several Microsoft Official Curriculum courses for Dynamics CRM. Richard's blog, the DynamicsCRMTrickBag (www.dynamicscrmtrickbag.com) is dedicated to building business value on the Dynamics CRM platform and is one of the most popular independent blogs focused on Dynamics CRM.
Tim Traxinger, Co-Owner and Managing Partner at Magenium, stated that "successful companies tend to retool and refocus their business processes in economic downturns in an effort to be more customer-centric." He continued, "We are strengthening our capabilities in the CRM space at a time that coincides with market demand for customer-centric solutions and the timely upcoming release of Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011." Magenium believes the convergence of these events create ideal market conditions for the implementation of CRM solutions.
In addition to Richard, Magenium is excited to also announce the hiring of Mary Annino, who specializes in the internal marketing and delivery capabilities pertaining to CRM. "In essence, we've acquired the entire senior leadership team from IMG by bringing both Richard and Mary on board," said Colleen LaMantia, Co-Owner and Managing Partner at Magenium. "I can't tell you how excited we are to tap into the knowledge and expertise that this tandem brings to our organization."
Commenting on his latest career move, Richard says that he is excited about the possibilities for growth in the CRM space. Speaking to the new found access he now has to skilled resources that extend beyond his domain expertise area, Richard stated that CRM is becoming more complex and far-reaching and that although hosted solutions are gaining traction in the marketplace, on-premise solutions will continue to thrive due to the level of customization and integration required by organizations. He says, "The ability to tap into a cross-disciplinary pool of qualified resources that possess specific business and technical skills needed for our engagements is going to greatly enhance the value-add to our customers." Magenium will offer a variety of engagement models to address the specialized needs of our customers, including project-based engagements, contract-to-hire, permanent placement, as well as a managed services model where customers can benefit from a fully-managed hosted CRM solution.
