  • (1888PressRelease) October 06, 2010 - MagazineRackShop.com, a DisplayShops specialty website, has just launched a new series of book racks with double-sided capability. The free-standing designs allow retailers to display a large number of books in a small footprint.

Sandra Reno, New Product Marketer for MagazineRackShop says, "This new book rack series provides contemporary design to interior environments. The racks are double-sided and can be placed at the end of store aisles or within the aisle. Retailers can display a large number of books in a small amount of space."

Shipped unassembled to save on shipping costs, the rack features a steel base and top, aluminum support poles, and 20 individual book pockets. The book racks stands at a height of 72" and features a satin silver finish. Each book pocket is 10" wide and the pockets can be attached to the support poles in even rows or individually staggered. This is advantageous to the retailer since book heights vary.

"The design also allows merchants to place the racks side by side, creating larger book displays", continues Reno. "With the open design of the pockets, the book racks provide easier scanning by customers who are able to see both the spine and covers. This visual enhancement adds to the marketability of these display fixtures."
