Madagascan Ministry Of Hydrocarbons To Meet The East African Leaders And International Investors In London
The Madagascan Ministry of Hydrocarbons Director General, Pascal Clovis Velonarivo alongside other East African leaders, will deliver a keynote address at the CWC's 3rd East Africa Oil and Gas Summit taking place in London on the 10th - 12th June 2014.
- (1888PressRelease) May 20, 2014 - Velonarivo, representing the newly elected Madagascan government, will discuss the upcoming investment opportunities available to the international oil and gas industry.
With Madagascar's proven oil reserves and operators including Exxon, Tullow, OMV, Afren among others already involved in onshore and offshore exploration activities, the country is set to become a significant oil supplier in the East Africa region.
The East Africa Oil and Gas Summit, now in its third year, will also welcome Ministers and NOC representation from Kenya, Mozambique, Seychelles, Ethiopia, Uganda, Somalia, Comoros as well as the East African Community.
East Africa Oil & Gas Summit 2014 programme will look at the developments, challenges and opportunities in East Africa's oil and gas sector, upcoming licensing rounds, collaboration vs competition issue, gas monetisation options across the region, regional infrastructure cooperation and skills shortages.
Somalia Oil & Gas Summit (co-located with the East Africa Oil & Gas and taking place in London on the 9th June 2014) will gather for the first time representatives from Somalia, Puntland and Jubaland who will discuss collaboration needed for creating a successful oil and gas industry in the country.
