MAAC South Ex Participates in '4th Comic Con' in New Delhi
During the 3 day event the Institute ensures interaction of students with 'Comic Mentors' and won prizes in various competitions.
- (1888PressRelease) February 26, 2014 - MAAC South Ex contributed in the 4th Annual 'Comic Con'- one of the most happening and colourful event of Comic world that concluded last week in New Delhi, held at 'Thayagraj Stadium' near INA. MAAC participated in various competitions and conducted activities like; Paint Your Shirt, Extreme Gaming, Cosplay Competition, Doodle Making and won multiple titles.
Moreover they ensured global exposure for the students of animation when they get opportunity to meet pioneers of comics industry, illustrators, content writers, and other stalwart of comic world under one roof. During the various competitions, Gaurav Kumar Singh from MAAC South Ex won the gaming competition under "Extreme Gaming" category. Another student from MAAC South Ex played the character of 'Magneto' and 'The Mummy' in "Cosplay Competition" that considered the most dynamic activity in the competition.
According to Ms. Kanika Mehta, HOD of Post Production department at MAAC South Extension, "Our participation at Comic Con is the best platform for our students to create opportunity to interact and get exposure with the bests of the Comic world. Our institute is very proactive and appreciate the level of participation and such initiatives from young professionals. It is considered as one of the most powerful and a colourful event of the world."
Comic Con India is an annual event started by a group of relatively young people in Delhi and has now grown to multiple events all over the country. Apart from participation in various competitions, MAAC South Ex gifted T-Shirts to the winners of Comic Con's Cosplay Competition.
