MAAC Kamla Nagar showcased quality 3D and VFX Work at "HOONAR" Art Gallery
Maya Academy of Advanced Cinematics, Kamla Nagar successfully organized its 1st annual showcase of student's art gallery "Hoonar - A Journey from Pencil 2 Pixel" at its Kamla Nagar Centre, New Delhi. Lead Artist Mr. Amitabh from Lakshya Digital inaugurated the art gallery after cutting the ribbon.
- (1888PressRelease) May 10, 2012 - Maya Academy of Advanced Cinematics, Kamla Nagar successfully organized its 1st annual showcase of student's art gallery "Hoonar - A Journey from Pencil 2 Pixel" at its Kamla Nagar Centre, New Delhi. Lead Artist Mr. Amitabh from Lakshya Digital inaugurated the art gallery after cutting the ribbon. The gallery comprised of work from different genres by numerous students.
A large number of visitors viewed and voted for the art works put up by various students, including 3D Models, Textures & Lighting, and Animation, 2D Media, Digital Painting & Illustration, Sketches, Clay Models, Photography and much more. For the first time some gallery work showcased Stereoscopy images created by the students viewed with 3D Glasses.
The event was the result of dedicated student work and their support along with the team member of MAAC Kamla Nagar. "The gallery work was astonishing, there is a lot of hidden talent among students and a gallery like this provides them a platform to put their work across. Such initiatives are very important for the industry so that we can see more and more talent come forward," said Amitabh.
"It was an honor to have Mr. Amitabh and Mr. Vikas Tewari, Senior VP, MAAC, with us as the Guests of the event, welcoming our contribution to the art 3D Animation & VFX and kicking off what was a spectacular event for us. Our students are creating amazing works and we always felt the need to put their work between the masses giving them a much needed stage. The response for the gallery is a nice surprise. We would plan to hold it even bigger next year and make it theme oriented." said Madhav Ojha, Center Director MAAC Kamla Nagar.
