Mӧdul and Toke Integrated Design Center opens in San Diego's Little Italy
The premier kitchen design and furniture showroom celebrated the grand opening of its first Southern California location on July 29th.
- (1888PressRelease) September 28, 2010 - San Diego, CA - Little Italy welcomed a unique and contemporary showroom to its streets this summer: Mӧdul and Toke Integrated Design Center, two side-by-side design centers featuring custom-made furniture, and kitchen décor, opened its doors to the public on August 1st at its Kettner Blvd. location.
The kitchen division of the boutique design store, Mӧdul Studio, specializes in all aspects of kitchen composition and décor, with heavy influences from European designs and styles.
In addition to its six different lines of kitchen décor, Mӧdul Studio is an exclusive carrier of Silestoe countertops, from Spain, and American Range, Fagor and Kuppersbusch kitchen appliances.
All of Mӧdul Studio's manufacturing is done in Mexico, including its solid stone countertops, with some pieces done by Mexican artist Karla Atmos of D'Lara.
Toke is the separate, furniture-focused entity of the showroom, featuring custom-made contemporary furniture in a variety of styles and designs.
Representing between 15 and 20 brands at a time, Toke displays special accented pieces using onyx, marble, solid or colorful wood to create modern yet naturalistic home furnishings.
The design studio supplies "wall-teriors", luxury hand-made wallpaper, as well as wallpaper arts and coverings from different artists around the world
Mӧdul and Toke Integrated Design Studio (2136 Kettner Blvd.) is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday - Saturday, Noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday, and by appointment on Monday.
