Lynn von Kersting and Daughter India Irving Amaze in Mont Reve
Mont Reve wins first prize at the Ischia Film and Music Global Fest. Mont Reve is about a private boarding school located in Switzerland where royals send their heirs to get the best education they can possible get, while they befriend classmates who are destined to be the leaders of future generations. Produced by Lynn von Kersting. It stars India Irving who also wrote the screenplay.
- (1888PressRelease) September 06, 2012 - Mont Reve surprised many at the Ischia Film and Music Global Fest. The short film submission won first prize with co-producers and co-stars India Irving and Mario Rivelli taking home awards. The film was produced by Lynn von Kersting who also owns the world famous Ivy restaurants in Los Angeles, California.
When interviewed by the Beverly Hills Courier, von Kersing had this to say, "We're with an ultra-low budget, blessed with local and foreign investors," notes Lynn. "Interior scenes were filmed at our home, and at spots around Los Angeles. Such as Hamilton High School, not far from Dolce Isola, the Ivy Bakery on South Robertson Boulevard."
By the conclusion of the festival, the director and founder Pascal Vicedomini presented India and Mario with a trophy for their wonderful short film about young love's ups, downs and every thing in between. The fest was full of celebrities such as Oscar winner Christoph Waltz and musician Sting.
The 2 stars India and Mario are bouth graduates of USC. India is now going back to school to get her law degree from cross-town rival UCLA. Her mother, Lynn von Kersting also runs the Indigo Seas store adjacent to The Ivy Restaurant.
The crew plans on submitting their film, Mont Reve, to the more film festivals.
