Lucille And Edward R. Roybal Foundation Join The Latino Diabetes Association To Create Sustainable Urban Garden In East L.A.
To reduce diabetes and encourage urban farming, the Roybal Foundation and Latino Diabetes Association collaborate to establish the "Lucille Beserra Mother Garden" in East L.A. Other major collaborators include L.A. Community Garden Council, San Gabriel Valley Conservation Corps, and California Center for Public Health Advocacy.
