LPU inaugurated 15th Annual Conference 'Share the Vision-2016' with 3500+ Staff Members' massive Participation
Clad in saffron, white & green dresses staff members demonstrated strong unity in diversity as that of India.
- (1888PressRelease) December 30, 2016 - Lovely Professional University inaugurated its 15th annual conference 'Share the Vision-2016', where more than 3500 faculty and staff members are participating. The theme of two-day annual conference this year is 'Celebrating Togetherness'. The unique feature of the celebration was that clad in saffron, white & green dresses staff-members demonstrated strong unity in diversity by forming a tri-colour. This theme was thought as LPU staff also hails from 29 states of India and even other countries as well. Near 400 LPU employees, who have been providing their services to LPU since long, are also being honoured with association awards.
On the inaugural day, staff members with 15 years' service, that is, since inception of the university 16 years back, were specially honoured. Holding hands of one another, staff members also went for 4 kilo-meter long 'Unity Walk' along with the senior team of the university to showcase strength of oneness. Congratulating all participating staff members for their enthusiasm and devoted services, LPU Chancellor Mr Ashok Mittal advised them to always have a team spirit and bond of togetherness to keep on taking the university to global heights. Talented LPU students also paid respect to staff members by showcasing cultural items which have won laurels at Association of Indian Universities' competitions.
Fifteen years' Association Awards were bestowed upon Executive Dean Dr Sanjay Modi, Associate Registrar Soosan Chhabra, Deputy Dean Dr Suresh Kumar, Assistant Dean Prof Balraj Kumar, Assistant Director Archana Sehgal, Professor MM Khanna, Assistant Professor Avinash Bhagat, Accountant Ranju Sharma, Senior Designer Satvinder Pal Singh, Officer Vandana Sharma, Deputy Officer Ravish Kumar, Site Supervisor Surinder Pal, Driver Bodh Raj and Driver Raj Kumar. The family members of these awardees were also specially invited to feel proud of the award winners.
On the concluding day of the conference, at its sequel part 'Sanidhya', the services of the rest of the staff members will be recognized. The senior authorities of LPU will share ideas of propagation and the further achievements to be made for the university. In addition, various cultural & sports events, fashion show, and fun based activities will also be organizedto enhance the bond of togetherness among the staff members.
