LPU commenced five-Day Awareness Campaign for its annual National Fest 'One India'
Mega cultural fest will be held on 24th & 25th March worshipping great women of India. Titled as "Maa Tujhe Salaam", the 2-day fest is to preach and propagate women empowerment.
- (1888PressRelease) March 22, 2015 - Celebrating cultural diversity at the campus, Lovely Professional University is going to hold its annual national fest 'One India' on 24th & 25th March 2015. Worshipping great women of India, the two-day cultural fest is titled this year as "Maa Tujhe Salaam".
The mega organization is aimed to preach and propagate women empowerment on a massive scale. Tens of the Indian women awarded with top Indian Awards & Honours will also participate in the fest to motivate women folk at the university. LPU Students have started holding Rallies, Nukkad Natak, Quiz Program, Poetical Recitation, Singing competitions at the campus to let all students aware & awake about fest's aim.
LPU Pro Chancellor Mrs Rashmi Mittal informed: "This national fest immensely proves that "Diversity" is not just about the innumerable ways people differ. Diversity is primarily about acknowledging the differences and to accommodate these differences willingly for valuable learning. Annually, a theme is forwarded to the students and they work together on the given theme irrespective of their belonging to any of the states or countries. This makes students learn more of others' cultural best than before."
Illustrative, with 25000+ national & international students from across 29 states of India and 28 countries, LPU is providing its students an education system which promotes cultural diversity and fosters inter- cultural understanding among students. Being from different regions, castes, creeds, customs, cultures; LPU student-community automatically brings forward culturally inclusive behavior. In addition, through such fests cultural differences are not only appreciated but explored also.
