LPU Alumni re-lived their Life at the Campus

(1888PressRelease) April 07, 2015 - Reminiscing and sharing their life long connection with their alma-mater Lovely Professional University; hundreds of LPU alumni re-lived their precious moments of life spent at the university during their study period. The occasion was Alumni Reunion-2015 by LPU Alumni Association (LPUAA) at the University campus. Alumni of all the batches, since inception of Lovely Institutions & LPU in the year 2001 and 2005 respectively, participated along with their family members. Close to 1000 alumni took part to make the event a mega reunion. Gathered with their families, all of them got updated and reconnected with their friends around the country and the world.

The talented students of the current batch of the University presented welcoming & entertaining cultural program for alumni and their family members. In turn, alumni shared their corporate and entrepreneurship experiences with the students and accorded them important career tips. LPUAA also held the election of its office bearers for which Dilpreet Singh, Sachin Khosla, Bharat Gupta, Shilpa Chauhan and Priya Malik were elected on main position holders. The bye laws and memorandum of understanding of the alumni association were also discussed. Alumni also shared their individual experience of being at LPU and its impact on their career.

LPU Chancellor Mr Ashok Mittal shared: "We are happy to see a vast galaxy of our successful and illustrious alumni who are presently leaders in the industry, academia, public sector, enterprises and government sectors. Now we are certain that there are thousands of strong willed minds who are there in the world to propagate vision and mission of the University as true brand ambassadors. By planning effective roles as an important part of the LPU family each one of you can add much to the existing LPU potentialities for it to grow to desired heights in diverse fields."

Being emotional on visiting their class-rooms, labs and other areas of the campus where they had spent the best part of their life, maximum of the alumni expressed that they would be ever eager in raising stature of LPU as a world renowned University. One of the successful enterprising alumni Vishal Kedia, who is presently Managing Director of DevelopTech IT Solutions Pvt Ltd is engaged in roaring deals of software development and industrial training, shared: "I preferred to be a job provider than to be a job seeker as such a great confidence can only be provided to the students only by a university like LPU."

Highlighting, LPU alumni of different streams are presently either roaring & successful entrepreneurs or placed with government, public and private sectors world across.
