Loyola Institute Of Business Administration Holds Graduation Day 2010
217 students pass out of the 1 year executive diploma programs at LIBA.
- (1888PressRelease) July 13, 2010 - Chennai's premier business school Loyola Institute of Business Administration, celebrated Graduation Day to mark the successful passing of the executive diploma students in a ceremony marked with fitting pomp and splendor on Saturday, 10th July 2010. This year, 217 students graduated from LIBA and were conferred their degrees on this occasion. The students attended these diploma courses in Human Resource Management, International Business Management, Marketing Management, Financial Management, Banking Management, Behavioral Science, Logistics and Supply Chain Management. Graduates also belonged to the one year certificate program in software testing.
L. Ram Kumar, Managing Director, Tube Investment of India Ltd. was the Chief Guest at this occasion. Addressing the students, he said, "Before getting into any industry, you need to know what is happening in the industry and what the needs of the industry are. You must also understand what is expected from budding managers in the current times and the key word for that is innovation. Therefore, always focus on creativity and innovation and not copy what others have done." He also shared a good deal of ideas on different industries and ended his speech saying, "You all have a responsibility towards your company, your career and your life and it is important to have a structured way of development and framing life which comes only through perseverance. Now is the beginning of this journey."
Presiding over the function, Fr. P. Christie, Director, LIBA said "We wanted to mark the passing of the executive program students exclusively through this function and I am very happy to see all of them who will walk out today with flying colors. Graduation is just a step towards the longer journey of life. We have tried to prepare them for that journey of life as well as we could here at LIBA. I wish them good luck and good sense for the days to come. "
The top scorers for this year under these programs have been, Georgeen Green, Monika, Neha V. in Human Resource Management, Radha G. in International Business Management, Akanksha Betala K. in Marketing Management, Alka Jain G. in Financial Management, Omi Pallavi N. in Banking Management, Dipali Yepuri in Behavioral Science, Maruthamuthu N. in Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
