The movie is a poignant love story that portrays the sacrifice of one family to keep their elderly loved one at home. The film company, Monterey Media, has joined with the Home Instead Senior CareŽ network (www.homeinstead.com) and the Creative Coalition (www.thecreativecoalition.org) to promote the film.

"Family caregivers and senior care professionals won't want to miss this movie, which is full of unexpected twists and incredible acting," said Debbie Seplow, local owner of the Scottsdale Home Instead Senior Care office. "Every day we see the challenges that family caregivers face in helping their senior loved ones age at home, where surveys consistently say that 90 percent want to remain. This movie brings new understanding and compassion to these issues, which impact so many local families."

This moving drama was an official selection at the Toronto International Film Festival. Written and directed by 23-year-old Nik Fackler, the film also stars Elizabeth Banks (Zack and Miri, W., Spider-Man) and Adam Scott (Leap Year, Step Brothers), and features original music by singer-songwriter and guitarist Conor Oberst.

Lovely, Still was specially selected for a premiere screening at the annual AARP National Convention and the event's Movies For Grownups Film Festival.
