LotusUserGroup.org Announces New Name, Site, and Content: SocialBizUG.org
LotusUserGroup.org announced today that it is renamed SocialBizUG.org, and will make even more content available to the IBM community.
- Boston, MA-NH (1888PressRelease) January 10, 2013 - In making this move, SocialBizUG.org also launched a completely new community website, making it the first public community site to leverage IBM Connections 4 and IBM XPages. This new platform gives members the ability create profiles, connect with peers, read and write blogs and wikis, share files, and much more. The group is asking all existing Lotus User Group members to log in and update their profiles on the new site, www.SocialBizUG.org. Membership is still free.
"SocialBizUG.org gives us an opportunity to expand our content offerings and deliver improved functionality and online networking opportunities that were not previously possible. We kept the best parts of LotusUserGroup.org while simultaneously expanding our depth and breadth of content. We are very excited for this new chapter in the user group," says Sarah Cenedella, Sr. Director at Wellesley Information Services, the company that manages the community.
SocialBizUG.org has already started to receive memberships from previous and new user group members and the trend is expected to continue as thousands of IBM professionals continue to gravitate to the site for its unique blend of in-depth content and actionable advice.
