Loop Pizza Grill searches for new Avondale location
Popular restaurant seeks commercial site due to shopping center closing.
- Jacksonville, FL (1888PressRelease) July 29, 2016 - For more than 28 years, the Loop Pizza Grill in Avondale has been one of the chain's most popular locations. The community in the southwestern portion of Jacksonville has actively supported the restaurant currently located in the St. Johns Village shopping center.
The current Avondale Loop location will be forced to shut down at the end of November due to redevelopment plans for the shopping center - so Loop ownership are actively looking for a replacement location in the Avondale trade area.
Loop Founder and President Mike Schneider said the search for the Avondale location is a top priority for the company.
"We owe it to this community to secure an outstanding location for Avondale," he said. "I cannot express how supportive this community has been for The Loop Pizza Grill since our opening in 1988.''

The following are site requirements:
• 2,600 to 3,600 square footage
• Shopping center or zoned business
• Avondale/Ortega/Riverside community
• Patio availability preferred
• Ample parking availability
Schneider said if a suitable site becomes available quickly, The Loop hopes to reopen in the first half of 2017. The good news is the store will be updated to reflect The Loop's modern new prototype design that first appeared in Jacksonville at its St. Johns Town Center location.
"We are an Avondale/Ortega tradition, and that tradition will continue," Schneider said. "The loss of our location will be a temporary setback, and we expect to be back stronger than ever in 2017. We welcome our guests to continue to enjoy The Loop until the very last day at that center."
