(1888PressRelease) April 26, 2019 - Hirobumi & Partners, a registered investment advisory firm independent of any financial institution that offers a full line-up of investment advisory services for corporate and individual investors today announced that Junko Fujita, a Long-Tenured Municipal Bond Fund Manager in Hirobumi & Partners’ Fixed Income Group, will retire at the end of March 2018.
Ms. Fujita has managed the Hirobumi & Partners Tax-Exempt Money Market Fund and the Hirobumi & Partners Short-Term Tax-Exempt Fund, respectively. As principal and head of the short-term municipal team within Hirobumi & Partners Fixed Income Group, Ms. Fujita has oversight management responsibility for all six tax-exempt money market portfolios, municipal bond fund cash reserves, Hirobumi & Partners Short-Term Tax-Exempt Fund, and Hirobumi & Partners Municipal Cash Management Fund.

Upon Ms. Fujita’s retirement in March, Masahito Yoshika will assume portfolio management responsibility for Hirobumi & Partners Tax-Exempt Money Market Fund and Hirobumi & Partners Short-Term Tax-Exempt Fund. The funds’ investment policies, objectives, and fundamental strategies will remain the same. In addition, Mr. Yoshika will assume oversight responsibility for the short-term municipal team.
Mr. Yoshika joined Hirobumi & Partners since its inception and currently manages Hirobumi & Partners Japan Tax-Exempt Money Market Fund and China Tax-Exempt Money Market Fund. As a member of the tax-exempt municipal team, Mr. Yoshika has worked closely with Ms. Fujita.
