Long Island marketing company Expos Your Business is reaching out to businesspeople and entrepreneurs in preparation for the upcoming NY Multicultural Business Expo.

Scheduled for Thursday, March 15, 2012 at Leonard's of Great Neck, the event will feature such speakers as Daymond John of the ABC hit show "Shark Tank" and acclaimed actress and speaking coach Maria Guida.

The Expo's kickoff event is VenturePitch 2012, produced by Neuwirt in partnership with Advantage Payroll, with services by and based on a concept by Ana Carril-Grumberg, internet filmmaker to Deepak Chopra Global. Star panelist Daymond John will be joined by a number of regional business leaders, as well as moderator Rob Basso, founder of Basso on Business. VenturePitch 2012 aims to connect venture capitalists, investors, and business owners to entrepreneurs with fresh, new ideas.
Entrepreneurial finalists in VenturePitch 2012's search for business ideas will also be given the chance to pitch their ideas to panelists; prizes for the winners include a personal introduction to potential investors, a free year of bi-weekly payroll service, and a video and spot on BassoOnBusiness.com and ExposYourBusiness.com. Meanwhile, potential investors will have the opportunity to scout for new visions; the first five investors to register will get free admission and front row seating.

In "Speak With the Poise, Passion, & Persuasive Power of a Broadway Actor," Maria Guida, president and founder of New York consulting firm Successful Speaker, Inc., will share with her audience a variety of acting techniques that can be readily applied to business speaking, including physical and vocal cues to establish an air of confidence. Guida, who has spent many years on Broadway and as a spokesperson on national television, is a professional trainer and consultant.
