Long Beach Nonprofit, Up and Coming Actors, Premiere Meant To Be Web Series
A witty, captivating representation of queer black love, Meant To Be will enlighten people about the dynamics of different communities and the challenges of making love work.
- Los Angeles-Long Beach, CA (1888PressRelease) November 13, 2022 - Ashley Zachary, co-founder of Up & Coming Actors in association with Signal Hill Sandbox, Inc., and A2theZShow LLC are premiering their Queer 12 minute short web series Meant To Be.
This production was also made possible with a generous grant from the Arts Council for Long Beach. Thescreening of Meant to Be will be held at the Aurora Theatre on Saturday, December 3rd at 4pm. Thevenue is located at 4412 E Village Rd, Long Beach, CA 90808. The event will begin at 4:00pm and thescreening times will be 4:15pm , 4:30pm , 4:45pm and 5:00pm. The admission is a $10 suggested donation / general public.
SYNOPSIS: Meant To Be tells the story of two young women who meet, fall in love, and decide to start afamily together. “A witty, captivating representation of queer black love, Meant To Be will entertain and enlighten people about the dynamics of different communities and the challenges of making love work.” -Ashley Zachary, actor and producer.
Meant to Be follows the two lovestruck partners, Amora and Shay, somersaulting through the fast-paced process of planning a child. Throughout their navigation, they seek the help of experts: their best friends and the internet.
