Lok Bharti Education Society unveils "Skill Development Forum"
Lok Bharti Education Society organized a grand seminar on 'Rich Life' on August 9, 2011 at SP Jain Auditorium, South Campus Delhi University. This seminar was an attempt to bring the industry and the academia face-to-face to recognize and find ways how to bridge the skill gap.
- (1888PressRelease) August 11, 2011 - The program was commenced with lightening of the lamp by the inaugural Guest Shri Sharda Prasad (Director General of Ministry of Employment & Training) and Mr Sunil Kumar Kohli( Joint Secretary & Financial Advisor National Disaster Management Authority, Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt of India). The seminar was graced by the industry and the academia honchos. Mr Suresh Tripathi - President HR, SRF Group, Mr Rajnish Bawa - President HR, New Holland, Mr Promod Bapna - CEO Degmont, Mr Sanjeev Sharma - National Sales Head Siemens, Prof V.K Sharma - Director Sharda Group of Institution, Mr Shalabh - Executive Director Lord Krishna College.
For India Inc. in order to sustain its economic growth, the Lok Bharti Skill Development Forum provides a platform to address the critical issues of skill gap, sector mismatch and unemployability. In order to bridge this huge gap, Lok Bharti, has come up with this unique program called 'Rich Life' for the general enablement of students to achieve success in 5 steps of - Business English Communication, Personality Development, Life Skills, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and Employment Skills. In this seminar more than 150 Participant including Directors, Training & Placement Officers and students (Engineering & Management) of various Universities and Colleges of Delhi NCR had participated. The seminar successfully provided a one to one interactive platform to MBA & Engineering students who shared their doubts and fears with renowned industry leaders. The leaders from renowned industry shared their thoughts and experiences on how Life Skills, Business English Skills, Communication Skills, and ICT Skills are playing a crucial role for any fresher to get a Job and importantly build a career.
