Information about the portfolio panel:
Bambi Cantrell is a world-renowned wedding and portrait photographer who has over 25 years of experience photographing some of the most exquisite and breathtaking weddings across the globe. Bambi is highly regarded for her expertise in portrait lighting and posing and has received numerous awards including the "Lifetime Achievement Award" from Wedding and Portrait Photographers International (WPPI).
Lois Greenfield began her career as a photojournalist but was drawn to the graphic potential of dance. For twenty years she covered the experimental dance scene for the Village Voice. In 1982, she decided to open a studio where she could not only control the lighting, but could also direct the dancers in her exploration of movement's expressive potential. Her unique approach to photographing the human form in motion has radically redefined the genre, and influenced a generation of young photographers.
Gregor Halenda also began his career learning the art of photojournalism. Born in Westcliff, CO., Gregor eventually moved to New York City where he assisted Gregory Heisler and then opened his own studio in SOHO to pursue a successful career in still life, commercial and editorial photography. His warm personality and extreme talent has brought Gregor much success in a very competitive and busy marketplace with a client list including BMW, Coca-Cola, Ducati, Mercedes, Prada, and Revlon just to name a few.
Gregory Heisler is a world-renowned portrait photographer and educator, and for the past four years has brought his wealth of experience to Hallmark as the Artist-in-Residence. His venerable portraits have graced the covers and pages of numerous magazines, including Life, Esquire, GQ, Sports Illustrated, ESPN, and The New York Times Magazine, yet he is perhaps best known for his more than 70 TIME magazine cover portraits. Gregory has captured some of the most memorable images of professional athletes, actors, U.S. Presidents, and other world leaders.
