Logicom Holds Technology Forum at Ferrari World
Leading distributor of IT products and solutions, Logicom Dubai recently held an interesting one-day technology forum for the major ITC resellers and systems integrators that are based out of Abu Dhabi.
- (1888PressRelease) April 27, 2011 - Attended by a diverse audience from across the reseller community, the event was a great success with a strong participation from Logicom's major principals, including HP, Intel and Cisco.
In contrasting taste to most technology events, Logicom's technology forum was held at the acclaimed Ferrari World amusement park in Abu Dhabi, UAE, and was a unique mix of business and pleasure. The event included several presentations from global IT companies such as HP, Intel and Cisco, which included sales and technical information on different products and solutions and more specifically on HP Workstations, CISCO Unified messaging platforms and Intel sandy bridge.
Additionally, the major IT firms also setup informative technology booths and displays to interact with regional resellers. There was also a separate technology zone where HP, Intel, Belkin, Hitachi and Cisco displayed some of their innovative solutions.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Demetris E. Demetriou, General Manager, Logicom Dubai said: "Logicom has always emphasized on the importance of relationships, and we have once again brought all our partners together to strengthen our ties. We understand that knowledge and relationships are two key pillars of growth, and we organized the Logicom Technology Forum at the Ferrari World to include the right flavor of business and pleasure. However, the event was not all work and business. During the forum, a short break was given that included a live acrobatic dance performance, organized by Ferrari World Officials. As the forum concluded successfully, resellers and vendors were also given a full-access pass to all the rides at Ferrari World.
