Local Solar Energy Company Chosen As Finalist For Pacific Business News' Best In Small Business Award
Island Pacific Energy has been selected as a finalist in the Pacific Business News (PBN) Best in Small Business category of Business Leadership Hawaii 2011.
- Honolulu, HI (1888PressRelease) October 07, 2011 - A leading solar energy provider in the State of Hawaii, Island Pacific Energy is one of five local companies with up to 40 employees chosen for this award. The other four finalists include, Hawaii Human Resources, Nashimoto & Associates, Pacific Defense Solutions and Wilson Homecare. Winners are to be announced at an awards dinner on Thursday, October 6th, at the Sheraton Waikiki.
According to PBN, an independent panel of judges, each a distinguished business community leader, worked through the challenging task of selectingthe finalists. The tenth year of Business Leadership Hawaii attracted more than 60 profiles representing a wide range of excellence and experience in business from across our State.
Recently, Island Pacific Energy was one of three companies selected for the largest-ever solar energy government contract in the State of Hawaii valued at up to $500 million. The photovoltaic facilities will be installed at military installations across Hawaii for the Naval Facilities Engineering Command.
