Local New York Life Office Sponsors 2nd Annual Comfort Zone Camp Charity Golf Classic
Golf Tournament Featuring Senior PGA Tour Member Keith Clearwater To Support Bereavement Services For Grieving Children.
- Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill, NC (1888PressRelease) September 17, 2011 - Paul Holmes, managing partner for the Raleigh office of New York Life Insurance Company (http://www.raleighnyl.com), has announced that the Raleigh office will sponsor the upcoming 2nd Annual Comfort Zone Camp Charity Golf Classic, which will take place on Monday, Sept. 19 at the Brier Creek Country Club. Aiming to bring community awareness, funding and support for bereavement services to children who have lost a family member, the golf classic will ensure that Comfort Zone Camp remains free to all children. Senior PGA Tour member Keith Clearwater will host a clinic the morning of the tournament following registration, which begins at 10:30 a.m.
Comfort Zone Camp is a nonprofit bereavement camp supporting children who have experienced the death of a parent, sibling or primary caregiver. The camp, which is free for children, includes confidence building programs and age-based support groups that break the emotional isolation associated with grief. Comfort Zone Camps are offered to children ages 7-17 and are held year-round in North Carolina.
