- Bergen-Passaic, NJ (1888PressRelease) August 27, 2013 - Nancy Schuring, owner of Devon Fine Jewelry in Wyckoff and global philanthropist, has generously donated three pieces of Kwiat Diamond jewelry valued at almost $20,000 to be raffled off at the CarePlus Foundation's Second Annual "Golfers Give Back" Charity Golf Outing. The drawing and the outing will be held on September 16, 2013 at White Beeches Golf & Country Club in Haworth, NJ.
Mrs. Schuring was first introduced to the CarePlus Foundation in 2012 when she became aware of the increasing need for mental health services in the northern New Jersey area. She was inspired to donate jewelry that was raffled off at CarePlus Foundation's 2012 Courage Awards Gala and raised substantial funds for the organization. Mrs. Schuring was honored for her generosity at the 2013 Courage Awards Gala and she graciously contributed the three pieces being raffled this year in continuation of her support of the Foundation.
"The work that CarePlus does for the community and those suffering from mental illness is so important," says Mrs. Schuring. "I am happy to be a part of the organization."
The three pieces of jewelry are a pair of 1-inch diameter diamond hoop earrings valued at $9,000, a diamond princess cut swing pendant valued at $5,050, and a diamond ring valued at $4,950. Tickets are $100 each and only 200 will be sold. Each ticket provides three chances to win one item per ticket and the winner need not be present to win. The pieces of jewelry can be viewed at Devon Fine Jewelry in Wyckoff, NJ. To purchase raffle tickets contact Alexis at 201-986-5070.
The CarePlus Foundation "Golfers Give Back" Golf Outing is in its second year and was conceived to bring together individuals and groups who can help achieve new levels of awareness for the daily struggles of those suffering from mental illness. Proceeds will directly benefit the clients and programs of CarePlus. The premium sponsors for the event are Inserra Supermarkets, Columbia Bank, the Fatigati Family, Roy W. Walters & Associates, and Accredited Lock Supply. The Foundation is currently welcoming sponsors, golfers, and dinner guests to participate in the outing.
