Local Entrepreneur Joins Oprah and Richard Branson on CNBC Top Ten Serial Entrepreneur List
Anthony Mongeluzo Lauded for Entrepreneurial Efforts.
- Philadelphia, PA-NJ (1888PressRelease) January 15, 2012 - Cable financial news network CNBC has selected Anthony Mongeluzo entrepreneur and president of Pro Computer Service, to be included on their Top Ten Serial Entrepreneur list http://www.cnbc.com/id/45741019?slide=, which also includes Oprah Winfrey and Richard Branson.
CNBC defines a serial entrepreneur as "entrepreneurs who can't seem to stop at one business and don't let failures throw them off course."
While the best-known entrepreneurs on the list, such as Branson and Winfrey, have earned billions of dollars from their ventures, for Mongeluzo, it's less about the potential for making money and more about the excitement of creating and nurturing a company.
Mongeluzo started his "first professional company," Pro Computer Service, at age 21 from his parents' home. "I had other companies in my teenage years," says Mongeluzo, who remains president and CEO of the Marlton, N.J., information technology firm. PCS has gained recognition as one of the fastest-growing companies regionally and nationally and has more than $5 million in annual revenue, 25 employees and offices in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware and Maryland.
Since starting PCS, Mongeluzo, 31, has formed several other companies, including application developer pilotLight studios, real estate firms Monge Realty LLC and Pro Realty LLC, and voice and data concern Dynamic Telecom Solutions. In 2011, he bought into Agency Telecommunications, a Bellmawr, N.J., phone systems and VOIP company.
Mongeluzo, who is president of pilotLight and Monge and wholly owns most of the companies he founded, says that his strategy has been to fill needs that others aren't filling. "My goal with all of the businesses is to grow, create more jobs and provide national services. I plan on personally being involved for many years to come."
Mongeluzo loves the business world, and he proved it by starting two separate companies in different industries that made the exclusive South Jersey 25 and Philadelphia 100 lists of fastest- growing companies in the region. Recently, Inc. magazine recognized Mongeluzo's Pro Computer Service as the 179th fastest-growing IT company in the United States for growth of 184 percent in the last three years and placed as the 11th fastest-growing company in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland, according to Inc.
Mongeluzo lives in Marlton, N.J., and holds a bachelor's degree (magna cum laude) in business administration with a specialization in management information systems from Rowan University. He is President of the Entrepreneurs Forum of Greater Philadelphia (EFGP)
