Local Architect Named to Who's Who List for Second Year

Acknowledging the firm's accomplishments, Pacific Coast Business Times has recently named founder Stacey White as one of its "Who's Who in Clean Tech & Sustainability" honorees for the second year in a row.

Pacific Coast Business Times, a weekly business journal serving San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara and Ventura counties, publishes the special section to honor leaders in companies developing, producing, installing and using sustainable energy. It also recognizes those who are leading the way to a greener economy and those making a difference in clean technology industries. The 2011 honorees represent a wide range of industries including architecture, academics, solar and composting.
Long committed to environmentally friendly practices, mode associates focuses on sustainable design, planning and construction. Additionally, the San Luis Obispo-based architectural and planning firm was the first to adopt the AIA 2030 Commitment, a program that aims to lower building energy consumption to net zero by the year 2030. The firm has exceeded the goals of the Challenge and is already achieved Net Zero.
