Boatright office managing shareholder of its Kansas City office. Boatright succeeds Denise Drake, one of the founding shareholders of the office, who will continue her practice at the firm and will also take an active role in the American Bar Association's (ABA) Labor & Employment Section as the Management Chair of the Employment Rights & Responsibilities Committee.

He has specific expertise with cases involving the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, and Title VII, as well as the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Missouri Human Rights Act and the Kansas Act Against Discrimination. Boatright has represented employers in hundreds of matters in state and federal courts, primarily in Missouri and Kansas, and before administrative agencies including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Department of Labor. Additionally, he provides counsel to employers across a broad spectrum of industries on employment law compliance and provides management training on anti-harassment and other issues.

    Recently, Boatright was recognized by Chambers USA as one of America's Leading Lawyers for Business, and has been named a Super Lawyer in both Missouri and Kansas. He is member of the Eighth Circuit Model Civil Jury Instruction Committee, and co-chairs the Complex Litigation Subcommittee of the Employment Rights and Responsibilities Committee of the ABA.
