Little Rock DWI Attorney John Collins to be Instructor at Field Sobriety Testing Education Event

- Little Rock-North Little Rock, AR (1888PressRelease) September 16, 2014 - Arkansas DWI attorney John Collins of Collins Defense Law will instruct other legal professionals on standardized field sobriety testing this month.
Collins will be an instructor at a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration standardized field sobriety testing training event for legal professionals on Friday, Sep. 26 and Saturday, Sep. 27 at the Hilton Garden Inn in North Little Rock, AR. Training is scheduled for Friday between 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. and Saturday between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Joining Collins as an instructor for the event is Tony Corroto, a sobriety test and drug recognition expert who is a frequent expert witness for DWI/DUI cases. Corroto is a former police officer with the Atlanta Police Department, where he spent 14 years assigned to the DUI Task Force.
Both Collins and Corroto will instruct other legal professionals on standardized field sobriety testing and how it is applied on the street and in the courtroom. Knowledge of standardized field sobriety testing and drug recognition practices used by the police is critical for attorneys who defend DUI, DWI, or other drug and alcohol-related cases in court.
