Little Guy Teardrop Camper Trailers Partners for Promotion with America's Oldest Brewery
Yuengling® Goes Little as Little Guy Teardrops Continues to Go Big.
- (1888PressRelease) August 17, 2012 - Massillon, OH - Little Guy Teardrop Camper Trailers, the world's best selling brand of teardrop camper trailers, announced this week that it has teamed-up with Yuengling® America' Oldest Brewery. Little Guy has a history of going big with its teardrop camper trailers, which are regularly featured on the Price is Right and Let's Make a Deal television game shows and which have gained nationwide distribution through major recreational vehicle dealerships.
Yuengling® plans to use the trailers in a point-of-purchase promotion at grocery stores located around the state of Ohio and will be giving away a Little Guy teardrop camper trailer wrapped in the Yuengling® brand. Complete rules for the contest are available on the Yuengling® website.
According to Chris Baum, Chief Operating Officer for Little Guy, "We are delighted to have the opportunity to partner with Yuengling®, a company with a rich and storied history that is as unique as Little Guy Teardrop Campers." Little Guy Worldwide is having a banner year, with sales continuing to climb as public awareness of the product category increases, says Little Guy Worldwide owner Joe Kicos. "The biggest challenge that we face is awareness of the product. We offer a product that has a minimal impact on the tow vehicle's gas mileage, and people just fall in love with it when they see it. It just makes sense." Little Guy expects that the increased awareness gained by partnering with a major brand will further help to bolster sales.
Little Guy Worldwide is headquartered in Massillon, Ohio and has a worldwide dealer network that spans the United States, Canada, Europe, Israel, South Africa, Australia, Iraq, and the United Arab Emirates. Teardrop camper trailers were popularized after World War II, and the proliferation of small, fuel-efficient cars on America's highways has prompted a need for lightweight campers that can be pulled by virtually any vehicle with a hitch. With models available at around 500 pounds and ranging from 4 to 6 feet in width, teardrop camper trailers enable small car owners to get out and go camping while maintaining many of the benefits of owning a recreational vehicle.
Little Guy Worldwide is the world's leading distributor of lightweight towable recreational vehicles including the Little Guy Teardrop Camper Trailer, the Silver Shadow Teardrop, and the T ( @ ) B Trailer.
