Little Guests of Global Village to Enjoy 20 days of Special Activities at 'Kids Fest'

(1888PressRelease) February 19, 2017 - For its 21st season, Global Village, the region's first-ever multicultural festival park, is launching its 'Kids Fest' festival in its second season with a brand new program of activities aiming towards the enjoyment of kids. The multicultural festival park has announced a series of specially created activations, games and entertainment for its young guests from the 5th to the 25th of February.

Fun and festive times await the family during this season's 'Kids Fest' which will be taking place across Global Village, with activities including face painting, and giving children an opportunity to run into their favourite characters as well as , entertainers such as the balloon modelers, who will turn colourful balloons into floral and animal shapes and face painters.

The specially created itinerary has been designed specifically for the 'Kids Fest' and includes shows from Shaabiyat al Cartoon & Globo, and a special edition of the dance show City Jam. One of the biggest highlights at the 'Kids Fest' will be the presence of characters from the popular cartoon movie, 'Angry Birds', who will be performing an interactive show at Global Village's Roman Amphitheater and the main character from the famous Indian cartoon, 'Chhota Bheem' who will be coming to Dubai for the first time, only at Global Village! The Global Show Academy will also make a return to entertain children with interactive dance sessions and workshops.

'Einstein - Bheem' Show
For the first time ever, Global Village is bringing the characters of the most popular Indian cartoon Chhota- Bheem to the region. Visiting from the fantasy kingdom of Dholakpur, Chhota-Bheem and his best friend Chutki will be visiting Global Village and putting on a very special show for its guests.

'Einstein - Bheem' will be a daily performance during 'Kids Fest', which will take place at the Main Cultural Stage. The show's plotline revolves around Einstein arriving from the future to the kingdom of Dholakpur due to a miscalculation in his time machine. From there on, events unravel and Einstein meets Chhota-Bheem and his friends who help him return to his time.

Angry Birds
Happening exclusively on a regional level, Global Village will be hosting the characters of 'Angry Birds' during the 'Kids Fest', giving children a chance to meet 'Red' and his friends 'Bomb' and 'Chuck'. The interactive performance will be held at Global Village's Roman Amphitheater, which has been designed in a way that promotes viewer interaction. After playing around with the bird characters, children will be encouraged to take photos with them in this unique setting. Global Village is the exclusive holder of the IP rights for 'Angry Birds' in the UAE.

Shaabiyat Al Cartoon and Globo
Laughter will echo across the park as families and children watch a special performance by the characters of the Emirati cartoon show '"Shaabiyat Al Cartoon'" on the main cultural stage of Global Village. Some of the funniest characters of the show will participate in this performance along with Globo, Global Village's very own mascot, who will be joining the characters for a special edition of the show designed specifically for 'Kids Fest'.

Once the performance is over, children will also get an opportunity to play with the performing characters as well as take photos with them, leaving behind a souvenir from the memorable time they've spent at Global Village.

Global Show Academy
To amplify the fun and excitement of the 'Kids Fest' at Global Village, the Global Show Academy will be returning once again on a daily basis at Global Village's Roman Amphitheater across the days of the 'Kids Fest'. Offering an exciting and interactive experience, the Global Show Academy will offer children several dance workshops every day, where many selected children will be invited to join performers from the entertainment team of Global Village on the main cultural stage for a finale performance.

Globo Shows
Children will also get to witness Globo and his friends in action as they perform every day through the 'Kids Fest' on the main cultural stage. The little guests will find themselves being included in an interactive engagement as Globo and his friends try and find solutions through the help of the kids in the audience. Globo and his friends will be performing 3 shows a day during the period of the 'Kids Fest'.

Jobs and Sabz
A lively and exciting performance, Jobs and Sabz is a dance show that incorporates different dance styles into one show. With dances varying from Bollywood to Street Dance, the performance will take place on the Main Cultural Stage at Global Village and will have a number of shows throughout the month of February.

City Jam Reloaded
Taking place on the Main Cultural Stage, a 'Kids Fest Exclusive edition' of City Jam will be performed throughout the days of 'Kids Fest'. City Jam is one of the most popular performances at Global Village and has received a lot of praise from guests during the 21st season. The hip-hop show represents five of the most famous cities around the world including New York, Tokyo, London, Mumbai and Dubai which is performed by members of Global Village's entertainment team.

Globo's Bouncy Castle
Awaiting children at 'Kids Fest' for more fun is Globo's bouncy castle. Making things more exciting, obstacles which children have to surpass before reaching the finish line, have been placed inside the castle as a fun activity which allows children to channelize their energy in a thrilling game.

Fantasy Island
Offering more than 50 rides and skill games, this season Global Village's Fantasy Island is on everyone's "must-do" list. Hosting games for people of all ages, Fantasy Island is fun for all members of the family, offering guests an unforgettable time.

Miscellaneous Activities
'Kids Fest' is incomplete without seeing the Dancing Fountain show which takes place every day at Global Village, which features international melodies from around the world. The Global Village fireworks show will also continue to take place during the 'Kids Fest' on Thursdays and Fridays at 9pm. Additionally, the 'Carnival of The World parade', which is performed by more than 300 international dances, will take place every Friday, at Global Village.

Global Village's 21st season bids endless fun for all guests, offering world-class shows and entertainment. Entry Tickets to Global Village include access to the Kids Fest activities. Global Village is open from 4pm-12am Saturday-Wednesday and 4pm-1am Thursday-Friday and on Public Holidays until the 8th of April 2017. Mondays are family days at Global Village.
