Lions Rest Productions is thrilled to announce the release of the positive encouraging inspirational short film, 8 Days in Havasu
This film was shot entirely in Lake Havasu City, Arizona at the London Bridge and follows the real life story of a singer trying out for NBC's The Voice television show. The lead character Nema says "ain't nobody need permission to live their dreams".
- (1888PressRelease) March 05, 2018 - 8 Days in Havasu is the 4th film from Lions Rest Productions and Cherelynn Baker. Previous titles from Lions Rest Productions include NASCAR Nights: Why Women Love Racing, BEARLY, and MMMM with feature film Jael in pre-production.
Cherelynn Baker returns to film making after an extended break while raising her son and doing makeup artistry full time.
The producer, director, writer says she sees a void in media for uplifting content and she intends to fill it with stories that support and edify women.
Early reviews of the film state that "it's refreshing to know that someone else struggled with the wait". Artists who regularly submit their talents to shows and festivals know of the real, every day struggle.
