Lions Escape Game Parks And Attack Pedestrians In Kenyan Cities
Lions, in search of food, have escaped game parks in Kenyan and made their way onto city streets. One elderly man was recently attacked and is now recovering in a hospital.

At least four lions have escaped from Kenyan national parks in recent weeks and made their way onto the busiest streets in highly populated cities. When people see the lions, they run away scared or shout and scream to draw attention to the animals and to notify the police.
One lion in Nairobi, that was startled by drivers honking horns and people taking "selfie" pictures with it, proceeded to attack an elderly man. The patient is currently recovering in the hospital.

She uses the only weapon available, a can of mace, to defend herself. She is knocked flat on her back, while the lion keeps right on running. The group was subsequently attacked several times by lions, crockodiles, and wild dogs

Motumbo, a Kenyan-American who grew up with a Masai tribe, is saddled with the task of leading the troupe to safety.
Along way the band finds Saa, an old Masai shaman who was cast out to die by the chief of her village; Stacy, an eighteen year old discipline problem with tattoos up to her shoulders; and Kisai, a sick boy cast out from his village by a rival chief of his father.
The women fortify themselves with spiritual exercises, discussions of feminine literature, such as Jane Eyre, and conversations on the gamut of women's issues. They form friendships and alliances and uncovers skills and talents that contribute to the survival of their troupe.
