  • (1888PressRelease) October 14, 2011 - SAN FERNANDO, CA - David B. Tillman, MD, MPH, joins Partners in Care Foundation in the position of Chief Medical Officer effective September 1, 2011. Dr. Tillman is an experienced health care executive whose work includes medical group management, many years as a hospital CEO, as well as oversight of long-term care and residential communities. During his tenure, organizations that he has led have received national recognition for the creation of palliative care services, a community-based service focusing on maternal and child health services for a large Cambodian community, and a multidisciplinary HIV/AIDS clinic.

    Prior to joining Partners in Care Foundation, Dr. Tillman was president and CEO of the Motion Picture and Television Fund (MPTF) in Woodland Hills, California (1998-2010). MPTF is a multi-faceted healthcare and social services charity serving only people working in or retired from the Southern California entertainment industry.
    Dr. Tillman has also served as COO of the Southern California region of Catholic Healthcare West (1996-1998) and as President/CEO of St. Mary Medical Center in Long Beach, California (1992-1996).

    He received his undergraduate degree in Political Science from Tufts University, his MD from the University of Southern California, and a Masters in Public Health from UCLA. Dr. Tillman is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians.
