- (1888PressRelease) November 25, 2015 - Ling Capital's annual blood donation drive, in aid of Red Cross, takes place on Monday 7th December 2015, commencing at 9:00am, at its office building in Tokyo.
"Donating blood is an act of great human kindness and is a gift of life that a healthy individual can give to people in a community who are sick or injured." said Andrew Knight, Senior Portfolio Manager at Ling Capital. "In less than an hour, a person can donate one unit of blood that can be used to help save lives. Richard North, also of Ling Capital, whose donation was his third in consecutive years with the financial advisory firm, remarked "I tried to give blood when I was younger, but was declined in both my junior and senior high school years. Once I got to college, I was turned away again. I was finally able to give blood once I became older and have given twice before. I love donating blood. The thought of being able to help save three people's lives every time I do makes me feel like I am making a difference."
