Lifft Slings Launches New Website
Lifft Slings has launched a new website, in line with its evolving brand and showcasing all of its exciting new initiatives.
- (1888PressRelease) April 28, 2011 - Some research says that more than 65% of people in the UK look online before buying products. Therefore the look and feel of a brand's website is becoming more vital for retailers.
Lifft Slings has launched its new website, bringing together all the key facts about the baby sling. The website still has all the same functionality, including the option to buy online, information about the history of the brand and the products, as well as a size chart. However, as well as an updated look and customer-friendly layout, the new website also has even more useful and informative content.
For example, Louise Day, the founder of Lifft Slings, has recently filmed several short video clips showing the various wearing positions of the sling, as well as demonstrating some versatile alternative uses, including a playmat or a blanket for those inevitable impromptu moments with a small baby. These short clips can be found on the 'How To Lift' page of the new website. Slings still come with an instruction manual however Louise feels visual guidance can sometimes be easier to follow, especially for first-time sling users. The user guide is also downloadable from the website.
Lifft Slings is the only baby sling known to be scientifically proven to improve posture, which can be important for new mums, as the back and pelvis can be put under stress during pregnancy and birth. For those who are interested in understanding more about this research, the website also has details of the official scientific testing document, which was undertaken by the University of Central Lancaster's Biometrics Department. It details the testing undertaken, the results gained and a discussion of the findings.
The launch of this new website coincides with Lifft's appearance on the BBC2 series, 'Britain's Next Big Thing', which follows entrepreneurs on their journey to being stocked in well-known high street names, including Boots, Liberty's and Habitat. As well as the three 'original' Lifft colours - Cocoa & Coral, Vanilla & Stone and Khaki & Black, the website also has details of the new Navy colourway, which is currently exclusive to larger Boots stores and www.boots.com.
In addition, there is a website exclusive, with five Lifft limited edition colourways on offer for a short period of time - Black with Green, Cool Amethyst, Mocha, Soft Rose and Olive, all still priced at £49.99.
Louise Day said of the new site: "When designing this new site, I dug deep into my own experience as a new mum, as well as researching with other mums I know, to try and ensure that I included all the information that I know mums want. The new website has a lot more information about the product, as well as looking great and I am very proud of the outcome. This year is already proving to be a very exciting one for Lifft and I can't wait to see how things progress as the year moves on. "
