LifeAID Beverage Company, developer of the PartyAID and FitAID line of "synergy" drinks, has announced a partnership with Grind Out Hunger, a Santa Cruz based non-profit group whose mission is "to empower the youth by utilizing the passion of skateboarding, surfing, snowboarding and music to take leadership in the fight against childhood hunger and malnutrition."
- San Jose, CA (1888PressRelease) March 04, 2013 - Dr. Aaron Hinde, President of LifeAID, said "Having been approached by many drink companies, we are honored that Grind Out Hunger has selected to partner with us! Our healthy drinks have become integrated into the lifestyles of our youthful consumers, and that lifestyle includes a dedication to community. A portion of the net profit from the sale of each LifeAID product is earmarked for charitable giving, and teaming with Grind Out Hunger provides us with the perfect vehicle for realizing our charitable mandate.
Our involvement with Grind Out Hunger will go far beyond simply providing funding. We plan on actively participating with Grind Out in their events such as food drives as well as their efforts to educate kids about the importance a healthy diet. As we launch future products such as SkaterAID and SkierAID, the natural relationship between our two organizations will become even more solidified."
Grind Out Hunger Founder/Executive Director Danny Keith adds, "In the action sports arena there are a lot of unhealthy, high sugar and caffeinated options for energy drinks. Realizing that there is a culture of marketing that has been employed around these drinks, Grind Out Hunger has been looking for a partner such as LifeAID for quite sometime. After our first couple of meetings it was apparent that this opportunity represents the gateway to healthier choices. We look forward to a long term partnership with LifeAID as we collaborate on product for this space."
